The DE Divsion Of Regs. Held Their Public Hearing Today 12/08/08 and Heard From All. They Are Now Deciding If They Will Revise Their Rules Or Not And Then Pulbish Them Within 10 Days. Upon That Happening We Are Told That Applications Will Then Be Availiable For Sanctioning Bodies To Be Approved And Promoters To Be Licensed.

DELAWARE MMA UPDATE

The Delaware Divsion Of Regulations Held A Public Meeting To Discuss All The MMA Rules And Regs For Delaware MMA.

They are considering having 3 Classes. Novice, Open and Professional For MMA Fighters. The Rules For Each Are Not Yet Published But Should Be Done Soon. We Estimate The Permit Process Could Be In Place Thereafter In Nov. or Dec.

 

A NEW WORLD MMA PRESIDENT

 Mr. Allen J. Sachetti one of the founding members of World MMA Association who has been serving since it's creation in 1998 as President Is now Formally resigning from his Position.

He is selling off all of his interest in the World MMA Association and will have no furhter financial ties or involvement with the World MMA.

Mr. Sachetti is doing this to abide by the new Delaware Regulations that state a Promoter cannot be in any way financially linked to a Mixed Martial Arts Sanctioning Body.

We Thank Mr. Allen J. Sachetti for his excellent and impecable service to the World MMA Association during the last 10 years, for without him our organization would not have become the excellent sanctioning body that it is today.

We bid him a sad farwell and Welcome our New President Mr. Ernie Marra. Mr. Marra is a retired Bird Colonel in the US Army and has been training in Wrestling, Boxing, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Pekiti-Tirsia and Filipino Dumpag. His MMA knowledge is unquestionable and vast.
